16.02.2006

On 16 February an exhibition opens in Salzburg, displaying the works of three artists from Estonia and one from Austria.
The exhibition ‘Tühi Ruum — Freiraum’, meaning an empty space both in Estonian and in German, is organised by the Estonian Institute, the Estonian Embassy in Austria and the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It opens in one of the leading galleries of Salzburg, in the Berchtoldvilla on 16 February and the works displayed there are made by Virge Jõekalda, Leo Lapin and Marko Nautras from Estonia and by Peter Rieder from Austria. The works of the Estonian artists are selected from the virtual gallery 'Tühi Ruum'.
The exhibition stays open until 16 March.
