The Estonian Institute published a new booklet about Estonian cuisine.
The richly illustrated English-language publication introduces the Estonian cuisine, the Estonians’ eating habits and how they developed. It also describes our coffee and cafĂ© culture, desserts, and tries to find an answer to the question of what constitutes typical estonian food. The map at the back shows the locations of most widely spread national dishes.
Besides general information, the publication also offers recipes that enable the more adventurous readers to try out some dishes for themselves.
The Estonian cuisine is available at the Estonian Institute and its branches free of charge.
