Tallinn and Helsinki. Naapurivisa

24.02.2006

The annual rock concert series called ‘Naapurivisa’ has developed into a two-day festival, with Metsatöll and Kosmikud from Estonia and Kauko Röyhkä and Maj Karma from Finland.
The festival begins in Finland on 24 February with the Estonian hard rock group Metsatöll and somewhat melancholy Kosmikud performing in the Nosturi-club (Telakkakatu 8) in Helsinki with their Finnish hosts Kauko Röyhkä — who is considered to be the eternal enfant terrible in the Finnish music scene — and Maj Karma, one of the leading hard rock groups of a bit younger generation.
On Saturday, the 25 February, all of the bands perform together in Tallinn, in the Rock Café (Tartu mnt. 80).
The tickets (10 €) for the concert in Nosturi are available in Tiketti and in the Lippupalvelu all over Finland. In Estonia the tickets to Rock Café (150 crowns) can be purchased from Piletilevi and from the Statoil gas stations all over Estonia.
The festival is supported by the Estonian Institute, Viking Line, Raadio Mania, SUE, the Finnish Embassy in Tallinn, the Finnish Institute in Estonia, Elmu ry, City Hotel Portus, the Festival Rabarock and Lapin Kulta.
