Sweden: Terje Ennomäe. Exhibition National Jewellery in Stockholm 24 April - 10 May 2009

24.04.2009

The exhibition presents Terje Ennomäe’s jewellery based on national patterns and made of polymer clay.

Estonian national culture offers endless inspiration. Through constant use and testing the Estonian folklore has developed into what it is today. Blending the old and the new enables us to fully rediscover, admire and develop our ancestors’ legacy.

The collection contains pieces of jewellery titled Kuusalu, Paistu, Forget-me-not, Mittens, Setu Lace, Pink Coins, etc. Necklaces, earrings and handbags are both for everyday use and for festive occasions.

The author also has a workshop where she teaches the techniques of polymer clay.

The exhibition and workshop are supported by the Society of Estonian Culture, Estonian National Congress in Sweden, Club Estetic, Estonian Institute.
